The Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) is the only national accreditation agency for continuing care retirement communities.
Accreditation by the Commission is a rigorous process requiring an intensive on site evaluation by the commission to insure that standards have been met in the areas of government and administration, resident life, finance, and health care. In fact, fewer than 14% of over 2,500 continuing care communities nationwide have been accredited.
Air Force Village I was the first military retirement community to be accredited by the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission and earn the privilege of displaying the CCAC logo.
Air Force Village II is also accredited and is rated among the 50 best retirement communities by authors Alice and Fred Lee. We made the list following their evaluation of over 800 retirement communities.
